The Music Giant is a Los Angeles-based music production studio that creates scores for films, TV, video games, and digital media.
Founded in 2020 by composer Vinicius Barbosa Pippa, services include music scoring, virtual orchestration, orchestral arranging, music production, studio recording, conducting, as well as audio and creative consulting.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Vinicius Barbosa Pippa is a highly accomplished Brazilian composer and conductor based in Los Angeles, California. A graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music, Vinicius’ impressive portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects including film, TV, video games, and stage performances across various genres and media
His recent work on the Netflix series Go! Go! Cory Carson has earned him an EMMY® nomination. He has written additional music for the upcoming film Zombie Town starring Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase. A few other career highlights include Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, the visionary Blade Runner: Revelations VR developed by Seismic Games, touring as a conductor with the BSFO, and the world premiere of his orchestral and choral piece The Victor’s Lament at the Auditorium Stravinski in Montreux, Switzerland in October 2022.
Beyond these memorable projects, Vinicius has lent his talents to other remarkable endeavors, including the Disney attraction Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run created by George Lucas and Jurassic World: VR Expedition launched by Dave & Buster’s in over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
Vinicius’ actually began his career as a musical prodigy in Brazil, taking his vibrant hometown of São Paulo by storm performing drums in various musical settings. In his teenage years, he had the honor of sharing the stage with notable Brazilian musical acts such as Nando Reis and O Rappa at Via Funchal, one of the most prestigious venues in Brazil. He also shared the stage with world-renowned band Franz Ferdinand, as well as Nuno Mindelis who has recorded two albums with blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan band’s Double Trouble.
Vinicius’ remarkable career trajectory, marked by prestigious accolades and a diverse range of projects, positions him as an exceptional composer and conductor and a driving force in the industry. His ability to craft powerful and evocative scores ensures his continued success in creating memorable musical experiences for audiences worldwide.
