Vinicius Barbosa Pippa is a composer and songwriter born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, where he grew up immersed in music, sparking a lifelong passion and eventually leading him to America in search of something deeper. As a teenager, he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music.

Now settled in Southern California with his wife and daughter, Vinicius works in the Hollywood music industry. An Emmy® nominee, he has collaborated with major studios and contributed music to some of the industry’s most widely recognized film, television, and media projects.

His most personal work is Live Not by Lies, the Angel Studios documentary he scored and wrote songs for, an artistic stand for truth, courage, and Christian witness in the face of tyranny.

Seven years ago, after moving to Los Angeles, Vinicius experienced a profound transformation of faith, converting to Christianity after a lifetime of atheism. That conversion reshaped every arena of his life and music, deepening his desire to write scores and songs that stir the heart and move people deeply.
Vinicius hosts a podcast where he explores culture with curiosity and depth, challenging the shallow, distracted world we live in. Through music, stories, timeless art, and resonant ideas, he helps listeners live better, think deeper, and feel more alive.
