Vinicius Barbosa Pippa—composer, songwriter, and Christian—was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil where he grew up immersed in music, which sparked a lifelong passion, yet left him searching for deeper purpose. As a teenager, he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, where he discovered a love for America– its people, history and values.

Now settled with his wife in Southern California, Vinicius works at the highest levels of the Hollywood music world. An Emmy®-nominee, he has collaborated with top studios, contributing music to some of the industry’s most iconic and widely recognized projects.

His most personal work is Live Not by Lies, the Angel Studios documentary he scored and wrote songs for, an artistic stand for truth, courage, and Christian martyrdom.
Six years ago, after moving to Los Angeles, Vinicius experienced a profound transformation of faith, converting to Christianity after a lifetime of atheism. In a world bent on shallowness and relativism, Vinicius’ music, rich with soulful intensity and wonder, seeks the glory of God and the breathing of new life into our culture.
Vinicius hosts a podcast where he explores culture with curiosity and depth, challenging the shallow, distracted world we live in. Through music, stories, timeless art, and resonant ideas, he helps listeners live better, think deeper, and feel more alive.
